Keeley Samsonik, Miranda Lakis, Kim Richards, Mackenzie Smillie, and Catherine Hauser were among the scorers as the Barons topped Irondequoit 9–0.

The Barons (12–0–1) take on Webster Schroeder on Oct. 17, at the Schroeder.

Barons 4, Sutherland 0

October 11

Mollie Kase and Maddy Zelazny put in goals, and Catherine Hauser, Kim Richards, and Ella Charlesworth teamed up to score two more as the Barons beat Sutherland in a 4–0 win.

The Barons (11–0–1) take on Irondequoit Oct. 15, at the Brighton turf.

Barons 5, East Rochester 0

Keeley Samsonik scored twice, and Ellie Clement, Miranda Lakis, and Katie Cox each scored to lead the Barons to a 5–0 win over East Rochester.

The Barons (10–0–1) take on Pittsford Sutherland Oct. 11 at Sutherland.

Kim Richards scored three times, Miranda Lakis scored twice, and Keeley Samsonik scored on a penalty stroke to lead the Barons to a 9–0 win over Eastridge.

Taylor Hogan scored late in the first half as the Barons defeated Pittsford Mendon 1–0 at the Brighton turf. The Barons (8–0–1) take on East Irondequoit on Monday, Oct. 6, at Eastridge High School.

Mollie Kase, Keeley Samsonik, Catherine Hauser, and Kim Richards each scored a goal in the second half to help the Barons to a 4–0 win at East Rochester.

The Barons improved to 6–0–1 on the year with a 2–0 victory at Penfield.

Ellie Clement and Kim Richards scored goals for the Barons and Veronica Verstraten had her third shutout in a 2–0 victory over Pittsford Sutherland.

The Barons take on Irondequoit at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at Irondequoit High School.

Molly Kase, Kim Richards, Miranda Lakis, Sierra Rivers, and Keeley Samsonik each scored a goal as the Barons defeated East Irondequoit 5-0.

The Barons take on Pittsford Sutherland Sept. 12 at the Brighton High School turf.

Barons 0, Mendon 0 (OT)

September 4

Veronica Verstraten held Mendon out of the goal as the Barons battled to a 0–0 tie in overtime on the grass at Thornell Road School.

The Barons take on East Irondequoit in the home opener at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at the Brighton High School turf.

Barons 4, Fairport 1

September 3

Keeley Samsonik and Catie Golini each scored twice as the Barons opened the varsity season with a 4–1 win over Fairport.

Our teams played extremely well. Our first U12 team won both of their games. The varsity teams both made it to the finals but opted to forego the championship game and leave the tournament as cochampions! Great day!

Thank you to all the outstanding coaches and a huge thank you to Katy Hanrahan for all of the organizational work.


A Record-Setting Season

State Runners-Up, Section V and Regional Champions


The Barons return this fall from a record-setting 2013 season, when they finished second in the state, won the Section V title for the first time since 1998, and finished with a 19–2 record. Relive the season . . .

Play for the Cure!

The annual play for the cure game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Brighton High School turf.

All the concession stand proceeds are donated to support breast cancer research.

Girls and boys under the age of 14 can participate in a fall youth league.
